We are Brandon and Dian, the musicians of Luxe Duo. We’re a husband and wife, cellist and pianist team providing live music for any and all kinds of events.

As a husband and wife duo that has been playing music together for over 20 years, we feel it is safe to say that we share years of experience, a passion for music, commitment to professionalism, and an easy stage presence. Luxe Duo offers a full range of music for cello and piano including classical repertoire, timeless classics, and contemporary selections. We have performed concerts both as soloists and as a duo, and have played music for events all across the country.

Our history dates back to the autumn of 2000, in the Ottawa Valley, when we met in Dian’s hometown community orchestra – Brandon had only recently began playing the cello, and Dian was on her secondary instrument: the violin. We began playing music together – Brandon on cello, and Dian on her primary instrument, the piano – almost right away outside of orchestra rehearsal times, and we have been making music together ever since.

Upon completing high school, we went on to pursue our music degrees at the University of Ottawa and the University of Toronto. We officially formed Luxe Duo in 2010 and had four very successful years of music-making in Toronto, bringing live music to weddings, corporate functions, retirement residences, and private events alike.
